Massive Workbench (Download)

This project was designed for Brian, one of our USA customers. Brian wanted a massive workbench with banks on both sides that can house multiple drawers, as well as a long tunnel spanning the full length of the workbench to keep his track saw guides tucked away underneath when not in use.

The objective of this project was to replace multiple inadequate off-the-shelf workbenches placed side by side — shaky and unfit for the tasks at hand — with a single, super-professional, custom-built piece of furniture positioned right in the middle of the workshop.

Brian requested a workbench with overkill strength and rigidity. After multiple discussions, the design was finalized exactly the way he envisioned it.

Every joint planned into this build is designed for maximum strength, ease of assembly, and longevity — built to outlast its owner.

There are multiple ways to make full use of this massive workbench. Depending on your workshop needs, the sides and ends of the storage areas are fully customizable. With this much real estate, you can store all your tools and gear underneath, keeping your workspace neat and tidy.

In this download, you will find all the necessary files to build one for yourself, including the Material List, Product Links, 3D Model (PDFs, STEP & Shapr3D), and Drilling Diagrams. You may stretch, alter, and amend the design to fit your desired dimensions. With this purchase, you will grasp the concept of building with 8020 aluminum extrusion.
